FAQs About Cemetery Monuments & Headstones

  • What is the difference between a cemetery monument and a headstone?

A cemetery monument is a larger memorial structure, often used to mark the resting place of multiple family members or to commemorate a significant legacy. A headstone, also called a gravestone or tombstone, is typically a smaller marker placed at the head of an individual’s grave to identify and honor the deceased. Both can be personalized with engravings, designs, and other elements.

  • What materials do you use for your cemetery monuments and headstones?

We use high-quality granite for all of our cemetery monuments and headstones. Granite is durable, weather-resistant, and ideal for preserving engravings and designs over time.

  • Can I customize the design of a headstone or monument?

Yes, we offer extensive customization options for our headstones and monuments. Our team will work with you to create a design that includes personalized engravings, imagery, or inscriptions to honor your loved one in a meaningful and unique way.

  • How do I maintain a headstone or monument?

Granite headstones and monuments are designed to be low-maintenance and long-lasting. To keep them clean, use a soft brush and mild, non-abrasive soap mixed with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers, which can damage the stone.
